We paid $109.00 for two nights ( friday & saturday nights) nov. 23Rd & 24th. First we got a room that was non smoking and reaked of smoke, moved to another room. Then we went to bed and could not sleep because of a very very very loud party and music. We told the service desk that we were going to have to leave and requested a refund but she stated that she did not have the athority to give us the refund and that we would have to come back on monday we told her we would be back in south carolina then. She said to call the manager on monday but that we would not get a full refund. I called monday twice and she stated that the mgrs hours were sporadic and she did not call us about refund.
Not one thing! It was poorly maintained with no regard for their guest. The other couple with us had to leave also. Mike and joanne randall. They paid approx. $130.00 for two nights. I have never in my 67 years experienced a night like that. We left about 11 pm as they said the party would last until approx. 1Am. Would you like to pay your hard earned money for all of that? We have been coming the lenoir for years as that is where my husband is from. You reply would be greatly appreciated. Betty g. Adams Paul G. Adams
They were one of the only places with rooms available in the area at peak season. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were well designed and clean.
There were a lot of people staying there long-term. The bed was very cheaply made, lumpy and noisy. The walls were very thin also and I could hear the phone conversation of the man next door. Also, smoking rooms were right next to non-smoking rooms. When the guy next to us started smoking in the morning, I could smell it in our room.
Centrally located for our trip and a great value.
The price. I was merely looking for a bed for the night, and that's what I got.
Staff were friendly and accomodating.
I had stayed in the same location approximately 3 yrs ago. I was very shocked at how run down the room appeared and smelled very musty. The electrical outlets are very rusty, bathroom was very old, did not take a shower. Comode filled to the top when flushed, rather scary, air conditioner was very loud. I left at 4:00 AM and headed for Georgia. Would have to be desperate to stay there again. Nothing to do with the friendly staff, just the building condition itself. Location is perfect, my family lives in the area, have stayed many times since 1969 and never found the hotel as I did. You need honest opinions, felt I should share.
As a person who travels on a budget. It was a great value and extremely nice clean comfortable room.
Well their were people fighting outside my room at two in the morning. I thought we were going to be shot through the wall. They were having a private party when we checked in so I guess they got out of hand.
Worst motel we ever stayed in, tub would not drain and we stayed in the same room for 2 days on the promise it would be fixed and it was not, lady who checked us in had a cold and coughed all over my credit card, a rap band was playing till 2:00 am sunday morn and we could not get anysleep , the police were called because of the disturbance and people woke us up at 4:40 am running past our room for about 10 min, the computor that was for use by guests was the worst piece of junk I ever seen, its brand was an acer, never could get it to work, The web page was very good in locating a motel and getting us booked in, we will never stay there again
Decent contenental breakfeast. Friendly staff. Rooms clean
Bedspread had hole in it. With outside temps in 30's took a while for heater to get the room warm
The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. The table and chairs were a much needed commodity that helped with dining in.
The temp outside was cold and the room was extremely hard to warm up. If they know they will rent the room, they should consider preparing it for guests by turning the heat or AC on.
location, friendly staff, breakfast in the morning
